The first work meeting of the Organizing Committee of the event, held at the Tineo Business Center, opened yesterday the call for the twelfth edition of the Asturforesta international forestry fair, organized by the Tineo City Council with the support of the Government of the Principality of Asturias and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, as well as business and professional organizations in the forestry sector.
This first meeting of the Organizing Committee, convened by the director of the fair, the councilor of the Tineo City Council, Marcos Da Rocha, was attended by the Deputy Director General of Forestry and Forestry of MAPA, the Director General of Forest Policy of the Principality of Asturias and representatives the Asturian Association of Forest Entrepreneurs of Wood and Furniture (Asmadera); the Union of Forestry Cooperatives of Asturias (Ucofa); the Business Association of Forestry and Environment of Asturias (Asymas); the Association of Forest Owners of Asturias (Profoas); the company TRAGSA; the official associations of technical forestry engineers and forestry engineers; the Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo and the Emergency Service of the Principality of Asturias.
The Committee confirmed the celebration of the twelfth edition of Asturforesta between June 20 and 22 of next year at Mount Armayán, in a 45-hectare venue dedicated to the exhibition and demonstration of machinery in real working conditions. At the meeting, it was agreed to improve the conditions of the fairgrounds, which will present a circular route and new spaces for the exhibition, which will be enhanced with a price bonus, as well as for the demonstration of equipment and machinery.
Through various collaboration agreements with the entities that make up the organizing committee, and to which ASYMAS, TRAGSA and ASTUREX are incorporated, the international promotion and among Spanish professionals of Asturforesta will be promoted through various presentation events that will be held throughout the year. first quarter of 2019.
The first official presentation of the twelfth edition of Asturforesta will be in Paris before the partners of the world network of Forest Demonstration Fairs (FDF) on November 14 and 15.
