On May 8, 2024, the image that will be used to promote Asturforesta’25 was presented in the Press Room of the Regional Ministry of Rural Environment and Agrarian Policy.
Asturforesta, the International Forestry Fair to be held in Spain in 2025, will open its doors on June 19, 20 and 21, 2025.
It was attended by the Mayoress of Tineo, Ms. Montserrat Fernández; the General Director of Forest Management, Mr. Javier Vigil and Mr. Luis López, Councilman of Local Development of the City Council of Tineo.
This presentation was also attended by the Management Team of Asturforesta 2025, members of the Organizing Committee, collaborators, exhibitors and press.
Thanks to the financial support of Caja Rural de Asturias, the Government of Spain and the important contribution of the Government of the Principality for this year 2024, we are convinced that Asturforesta will recover the splendor of previous years.
As for the image of Asturforesta, the choice of colors, the large tonnage machine, the trunks, the forestry environment make the combination of visual elements very attractive and clearly transmit the message of what ASTURFORESTA’25 is, the International Forestry Fair of Spain.
The name of the person who will occupy the direction of Asturforesta was also announced. Ana Pérez, who, with extensive experience in the management of events linked to the rural environment, in addition to being linked to Asturforesta since its inception in 1997, will be responsible for assuming this task. Also since November 2023 she holds the position of President of the Forestry Demo Fairs, the Association of the most important fairs in Europe.
Asturforesta will also incorporate a Commercial Agent, who will work throughout the year 2024 in the study of the forestry market and the attraction of exhibitors.
Asturforesta’s Management Team is actively working on attracting exhibitors by attending fairs, organizing talks, etc.
In November, the annual meeting of the Forestry Demo Fairs will be held in Paris, where opinions will be exchanged with the rest of the members of the Association. Very productive meetings to learn about market trends in the rest of Europe, and improvements in organizational issues.
Although it is still too early to reveal details, a forthcoming alliance that will be forged in a few days and that will generate great value to the ASTURFORESTA’25 project.
